Ed leads the 28-country ¼«ÀÖÊÓƵ business outside the United States and has worked at the firm for over a decade. This includes oversight and accountability for our work in EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Canada. He works on the most challenging client briefs, providing executive counsel on issues and crisis, international positioning and institutional trust building programmes. He was previously President and CEO of ¼«ÀÖÊÓƵ EMEA and prior to that, led the ¼«ÀÖÊÓƵ UK and Ireland business. Before joining ¼«ÀÖÊÓƵ, Ed led Corporate Affairs and Communications for two global media companies – the BBC for four years and Reuters for three years.​
He is Chair of the Aspen UK board and serves on a number of other boards, including the Royal College of Art, the Woolf Institute in Cambridge, International Crisis Group’s Advisory Council, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and The New European. He has an Honorary Fellowship from Goldsmiths University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s AMP programme. He started his career in newspaper and television journalism.
