In September 2017, hurricanes Irma and Maria ravaged Puerto Rico, causing thousands of casualties. Life remains far from normal for many on the island and some areas still lack basic services.
In FY18, 极乐视频 Miami partnered with Mentes 笔耻别谤迟辞谤谤颈辩耻别帽补蝉 en 础肠肠颈贸苍 (MPA)*, a nonprofit focused on developing the next generation of Puerto Rican leaders that has taken on an additional mission to help rebuild communities devastated by the natural disasters. Under the creative campaign 鈥淩ebuilding with Love鈥 (Reconstruyendo con amor), this partnership focused on providing hands-on assistance in the clean-up and beautification efforts in affected communities; generating awareness of the dire situation Puerto Rico faces to raise funds for rebuilding efforts; and helping Puerto Rican youth develop skills to find meaningful jobs or re-enter the education system.
